Paris in January is the place to be

The design industry’s favorite destination

If you’ve ever wanted to be at the center of the design world, trust us, come to Paris in January. Filled with new introductions from the world’s leading design brands, every moment in Paris is an opportunity to see, explore, learn, & shop!

We can’t provide a specific schedule yet, as many of the best events won’t be announced until October or later, but our itinerary includes special invite-only events every day, exclusive atelier appointments, guaranteed access to our favorite Deco-Off presentations, museum tours, and so much more, including some exceptional dining experiences.

Given the nature of many of our appointments, this group is limited to 10 people only.

Our Take on Paris

You’ve probably all seen the by-now iconic lampshades that mark the main showroom streets of Deco-Off. But for a Decor Tours trip, Deco-Off is just the start! We have special appointments every day, where you can get to know the names behind the brands. And we’ll also help you make the most of your time in Paris, based on your specific needs and interests.

Included are:
+ Six nights, shared room at a five-star hotel, breakfast included
+ Transfers to/from Charles de Gaulle and the hotel
+ Museum passes to Musee d’Orsay and the Louvre
+ Metro passes
+ VIP passes to Maison&Objet
+ Seine cruise
+ Decor Tours-only atelier visits
+ Many more special events to be announced

Why Travel With Us?

We’ve been traveling to Paris for design events for more than 20 years—and bringing fellow designers there for more than a decade. It used to be a hard sell to get designers to Paris in January, but now it’s the place to see what’s new and what’s next.

The nature of January Paris events means we can work with you to create a Paris experience that suits your needs and interests. Want to fill every day with showroom appointments, then hit the showroom parties every evening? Or would you rather book with your own vendors, but would love us to get some museum, dinner, or other reservations? Happy to explore mostly on your own, but interested in advice, recommendations, and suggestions?

When you register, think about what would make for your best Paris experience and let us know.

Deb and Susan were fantastic guides who planned the itinerary with great care, honoring the interests/goals of the group and making individual bookings when requested. They provided context and extensive travel education so all participants were able to make the most of the trip. Highly recommended!

Additional Information

Patience please!

Our January 2026 itinerary will start to shape up in late October—this is when many of the major Deco Off participants typically begin to hint at their plans. But we will make adjustments to group appointments up until early January, which is when the show schedules (Deco Off & M&O) are, for the most part, finalized.

We honestly cannot provide anything more specific earlier than this, because the participants change, locations of pop-ups and special events change, and our goal is create a unique, interesting itinerary each trip vs. repeating the same set of appointments each year.

Even without having a specific itinerary, our last three Paris January trips sold out before August!

But in general…

Typically our plan for the group includes one afternoon appointment on Wednesday (arrival day); one morning and one afternoon appointment on both Thursday & Friday and special evening events/party invites whenever possible.

Saturday and Sunday are left more flexible for us to assist each of you with your specific interests—you may choose to head to M&O or go back to Deco Off; you may prefer shopping or site-seeing. On Sunday, weather permitting, we typically head to the flea market, and later get together for a group dinner.

On Monday we like to schedule a special atelier visit or two, with free time in the afternoon for you to wrap up your Paris hit list and pack!

Want more time in Paris?

If you’re not ready to leave, for the past several years we’ve offered one extra day in Paris, filled from morning to evening with exclusive events.

In January 2025 we had:

• A private, pre-opening tour of the YSL museum, including his working studio with archive documents, fabrics, and more.

• A private, guided tour of the recently redesigned Maison Baccarat

• Gourmet lunch at Maison Baccarat

• A private preview of the Karl Lagerfeld auction and a chance to shop Sotheby’s archives at the company’s new Paris headquarters

• Late afternoon apéro and snacks on the top floor of Samaritaine, the gloriously restored Art Nouevau masterpiece.

We don’t know yet what we’ll do in January 2026, because we try to plan the day around what’s new, interesting, and exciting at the moment!
